Plans to work on our game

My self & Hannah are going to try to use flash & work on our game. Our game is going to be good; Hannah & I are going to work together,and help each other out to encourage the result of our paper prototype transferring into the real game.

Progress up to Thanksgiving Break

At the beginning of the year i entered this class around the first couple weeks. I kinda knew a bit more than my friends did that are in the class with me, But I noticed they are really catching on a tiny bit. My friends & I like this Class. I was in this class in 8th grade. As well as this year 10th grade. My Progress this year has got far in my point of veiw. I do really think that This year is one of the best years i've had in ages. & I think my progress has been kinda balenced, but Myself & Hannah are going to create a game called ♥ Tribal Survival ♥ .

WHO are you designing your game for? (Include the player's age, abilities, and prior knowledge of your topic.) We are designing this game for middle school like ages.

WHAT will your game teach the player about your topic? Our game will teach the player about certain skills they need in order to complete the game.

WHERE does your game happen? The game Myself & Hannah are making is happening at a place where you have to migrate around places & find different things.

Describe the world you will design for your game. Our world would be a place where you go to different scenes & you collect different things.

How will this setting add to the learning experience? When you keep on finding other things for your game that you will be needing to make your game fun.

HOW does your game world teach the player about your topic? When you find things you become closer to winning the game.

What happens in the world that helps the player learn? You try to win the game so you can get the most points, just by migrating.

How does the player use what they learned to make something happen in the game?


WHY is a game a better way of understanding your topic than a quiz? Because it is fun to play a game instead of writing for the quiz.

Today while in class we worked on our game ideas & Hannah & Myself Desided to work together. We thought it would be a cool idea to make the game we thought of like a stratergy game. You have to find your way around different varities of places, & You go to waterfalls, forests, & Imaginary worlds that involve Certain obsticalls to achive to get out of this place we are thinking about.

It was not hard to create the game.Everybody worked well together. The best part of this topic was I got to use flash. People kinda got frustrated with Flash. The worst part was the coding we had to do. It was a little bit hard.

Reading Time

1. what did you read today? I read my GlobalGloria Blog today.

2. When do you read? I hardly ever read, but i would like to start.

3. What do you like to read? I honestly dont like to read a lot, but i have read in the past & i have enjoyed Different kinds of books.

4. How does Reading effect life? Reading sometimes can affect your job. You could have a job like you have to do reports or type a paper or something in the system. You could also use reading by Communicating with differnt people at work or in school & in everyday life.

My Thoughts...

My thoughts regarding learning to use flash and creating your first mini-game are going to be fun & interesting. I would like to see how creative people in the class for their game. The most thing i think would be changleing would be People falling behind & not noticing what to do next in their time. I think i would do well mostly.

The Video Game

I really dont know what I would like to create. The reasons why I like certain video games is because Action-Adventure You try to migrate & communicate with other people. In action games you sometimes there is blood, but also theres shooting involved. The reason why i love strategy is just because You always have to figure out something to do, & rarely boring.

Today in Globaloria...

Today in Globaloria we tried to get everybody to work on their blog. we also searched for pictures for our profile. Everybody worked well & tried to do their best. This year looks like this year is going to be excellent.
